The 64th Grammy Awards nominations are revealed!

We are proud to announce that our release of Unexpected Shadows is nominated for the 64th Grammy Awards which will be held in January 2022.

Unexpected Shadows from Jamie Barton, Matt Haimovitz, and Jake Heggie is nominated for Best Classical Solo Vocal Album.

“Barton’s solo album is devoted to Heggie’s art songs and it’s a tribute to his output that he sustains the interest for over an hour with a variety that stands comparison with, say, Poulenc in the 20th century, lavishing sumptuous tone on the cycle written for Barton, The Work at Hand.”

The Sunday Times, September 2020

Star mezzo-soprano Jamie Barton presents a recital of songs by American composer Jake Heggie, with the composer at the piano. UNEXPECTED SHADOWS is a celebration in words and music of powerful, exceptional women. The program contains four song cycles, a standalone art song, and an opera aria.

We are also honoured to announce that Blanton Alspaugh is nominated as Producer of The Year for the production of O’Regan: The Phoenix and David Frost is nominated for the production of Mon Ami, Mon Amour and Primavera I – The Wind.
