Limelight has revealed the list of the nominees running for the “Recording of the year 2019”.The selection resulted in 25 outstanding new releases spread evenly across five categories.

Ian Bostridge’s new album “Winterreise” with Thomas Adès has been nominated for the “Vocal Recording of the Year”. Winterreise is the epitome of Romantic melancholia, written by a composer aware of his fatal illness but at the height of his creative powers.

The winners will be announced in the December issue of Limelight.
