Sean Shibe’s Vesper has been named to the shortlist for the 2026 Gramophone Awards in the Contemporary category, one of six recordings selected from the field this year.
The PENTATONE release, featuring world premiere works for guitar by Thomas Adès, Harrison Birtwistle, and James Dillon, joins five other shortlisted recordings, including new releases from the JACK Quartet and Minnesota Orchestra. Winners will be announced at a ceremony in London on October 7.
