We are delighted to share that Yulianna Avdeeva’s Metanoia is included in Ritmo’s ten recommended recordings of October, in the “EN plataFORMA” selection by Juan Berberana, where it appears at number seven.
Berberana writes that Avdeeva “establishes herself as one of the most brilliant pianists of the young Russian school,” and that her Liszt “possesses undeniable power.” He concludes: “Highly interesting.”
Metanoia was released on 28 August and features Liszt’s Sonata in B minor alongside his late works.
