Nareh Arghamanyan recording with the RSB

Pianist Nareh Arghamanyan writes about her stay in Berlin, where she was playing and recording Prokofiev and Khachaturian with the RSB and Alain Altinoglu.

Dear Classical Music lovers,
I just returned home to Vienna after a week in Berlin. My time in Berlin started with a really great concert with the Rundfunk-Sinfonieorchester Berlin conducted by the amazing Alain Altinoglu, with whom I have already recorded Liszt’s two Piano Concertos. Although we had never before played in a live concert, we had an immediate rapport. The collaboration was great and unique! And also with the orchestra, I felt this immediate and special connection. After the concert on November 24, we began the recording sessions, playing Prokofiev and Khachaturian. Since we all worked perfectly together, we even managed to complete the recording one day earlier than expected. I am really looking forward to presenting you with this release next year!

Yours, Nareh Arghamanyan

PS: Would love to see you on December 5 at the Konzerthaus Vienna!
