Sean Hickey, Managing Director of PENTATONE, commented:
“We are delighted that Sandbox Percussion’s tremendous album, Don’t Look Down, featuring works by Christopher Cerrone, has won the Grammy for Best Engineered Album, Classical. On a cold night in 2022, I heard the work live at the Interlochen Arts Academy. A day later, I was in touch with the composer and ensemble, and not long after we scheduled this extraordinarily fresh and thrilling album for PENTATONE. Congratulations to Mike Tierney and Alan Silverman for capturing this brilliant ensemble and the composer’s work so vividly.”
Congratulations to everyone involved with this incredible, award-winning album.
