We are delighted to share that Yulianna Avdeeva’s Metanoia has been reviewed by Patrick Erb for the German magazine Concerti, in a piece titled “Hearing shades of gray in color.”
Erb writes: “In these short, already modern-looking gems, in which Liszt condenses musical ideas to the utmost, she succeeds brilliantly.” He adds that the pianist “penetrates deep into the essence of the pieces,” and that Avdeeva “proves herself to be an accomplished interpreter of complex shades of gray.”
Metanoia was released on 28 August and presents Liszt’s Sonata in B minor alongside the late works.
