Christian Blackshaw is a deeply passionate and sensitive pianist, celebrated worldwide for performances of exceptional emotional depth, insight, and sincerity. Born in Cheshire and trained in Manchester, London, and Leningrad, he has worked with leading conductors, founded the Hellensmusic Festival in 2013, and now focuses on the profound qualities of Schubert’s late works.
