“Arghamanyan's playing is compulsive, emotional yet remarkably complete for such a young musician – sensitive, unaffected, genuine”, according to The Independent’s Jessica Duchen.
In her early twenties, Nareh Arghamanyan belongs to the promising generation of today’s finest pianists. In 2004 she was the youngest student to be admitted to the University for Music and Performing Arts Vienna, where she studied with Heinz Medjimorec. Since October 2010 she continues her studies with Arie Vardi in Hannover. She won an impressive number of awards with as highlight the first prize at the 2008 Montreal International Music Competition.

Recognising true talent, PENTATONE has granted their Artist of the Season title to Nareh Arghamanyan. From August until the end of 2014, fans and critics will have the opportunity to follow her closely, to get a glimpse of Nareh not only as a fast-rising artist, but also as a person.  Over the course of the season we will slowly reveal her upcoming CD “Prokofiev / Khachaturian  - Piano Concerto No.3 / Piano Concerto", which will hit the stores in November.

We will be spoiled with videos, photos and stories about the triggers of her motivation, rituals before concert, Vienna in Nareh’s eyes, and surprises which we are not going to give away so soon. Follow it closely, you don’t want to miss the playful side of this graceful brilliant pianist.
