Audiophile Audition: REMASTERED CLASSICS Debussy Review
"These are 4.0 quadraphonic recordings, lovingly restored here to be heard the way they were meant to be, yet could not be at the time. Now that we have them back, the world is a little better off than it was before. Highest recommendation."
We received a wonderful review about one of our REMASTERED CLASSICS series, " Debussy - Sonata for Violin and Piano; Sonata for Cello and Piano; Sonata for Flute, Viola and Harp; Syrinx for flute solo" with Boston Symphony Chamber Players, Joseph Silverstein, Michael Tilson Thomas, Jules Eskin, Doriot Anthony Dwyer, Burton Fine, Ann Hobson from Audiophile Audition. Read more of the review below.
Especially interesting is the fact of all the trouble Tilson Thomas was supposedly having with the symphony members—who were not liking him much, according to some sources—yet the recordings he made with them during the start of his career, were nothing less than sensational, several now considered staples of the recorded legacy and even desert island discs.
