At the starting day of the Bayreuther Festspiele, the grand festival particularly for Wagner, Dutch national newspaper 'Trouw' comes with a two page article on the Wagner Ring Box Set by PENTATONE. For the article, marketing director Simon Eder and graphic designer Joost de Boo were interviewed on the daring issue of the complete 'Der Ring des Nibelungen'.
The article stresses the special and well thought design of the box set, as well as the risk that was being taken by releasing such a big and unique box set. According to the article, the box set is 'Immodest Wagnerian design' , which will definitely leave an impression on the Bayreuther Festspiele. The complete repertoire on the box set is performed by the Rundfunk-Sinfonieorchester Berlin, and conducted by Marek Janowski, who will make his debut on the Bayreuther Festspiele this week.
